Owing to its crossover roots, the Explorer features a sports-car-style front end with deep corner covers. Slotted and honeycomb grille designs are available. The ST-Line is a style trim that includes ActiveX upholstery, 20-inch wheels, exterior trim accents and a ten-speaker B&O audio system. Moving up to the Platinum, drivers get diamond-pattern leather upholstery, a power-folding third seating row, massaging front seats, ambient interior lighting and a 14-speaker B&0. The Platinum also has a 3.0-liter engine. The ST is the top option with performance brakes and a sport suspension.
