Certified Pre-Owned Ford Process

If you have been browsing our inventory, you have no doubt seen our wide selection of new and used Ford models. You might have also seen a third option: our certified pre-owned Ford inventory. So, just what makes a CPO Ford certified? We're glad you asked.

In order to begin the CPO process, a used Ford needs to be under six years old, and it needs to have under 80,000 miles on the odometer. If it passes those two tests, it then moves onto the next step: a rigorous 172-point inspection process by a factory-trained Ford technician. If any one of those points doesn't live up to the high Ford standards, it needs to be repaired or replaced. Otherwise, the vehicles isn't good enough to be CPO. If that's not enough to assure the vehicle's quality, CPO Ford models all come with a CARFAX Vehicle History report. There are no surprised with CPO; you always know exactly what the vehicle has been through.

The benefits continue after you buy the model, too. CPO Ford vehicles have an extended powertrain warranty: seven years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) after the original sale date. It's even fully transferrable! CPO Ford vehicles give you plenty of peace of mind, both on and off the road.
